One of the things I’ve been learning about lately is how much you should go and do what you love; or, love what you do.
Passion is also one of the words that correlates.
I’m having a good time and work planning what I’m going to do to increase sales for our regional seat parts. I’m glad that I’ve got so many great ideas from what others are doing or have done to think outside the box and work with some of the new social media tools.
I’ve got a deadline to send out my first “expected” and “targeted” email. There is going to be a few very basic things in there to alert my customers to sales that are going on and my desire for them to come to me with any questions or issues. I also want this to be a reminder to them that we are still around and are the main supplier and not forget about us. This will be a great thing to start and something new to do. Also, a great way to implement some of the things I’ve been learning.
So, I’m “in love” with the things that I’m going to be doing. Some of the other things I do on a day-to-day basis maybe not so much, but I think that is all part of the job.
